The Hen-Dog Goes Sledding

With a rare afternoon of no practice, work, or any other obligation on the agenda, I decided to head up to Wanoga Sno-Park with the Sylvesters on Thursday. 

Henry was introduced to tubing for the first time!

He didn't seem to like the actual tubing as much as he preferred to chase the tube!

Even little Raylee got in on the tubing action. She's such a cool girl! 

 Such a fun afternoon and it's so awesome that these things are free here! 

Weekend Hikes

The weather in Bend was gorgeous this weekend so Henry and I tried to spend as much time as possible outdoors. 

On Saturday, we hit up Pilot Butte for a short hike. 

Henry just can't get enough of these mountain views.

Can you blame him, though?

Today Henry, Ashley, and I  ventured over to the Crooked River Ranch to try out a 6.5 mile trail. 

The trailhead was pretty far off the beaten path, but it was so cool to see all of the ranches as we drove in. 

No mountain views on this hike, but we got some good looks of the Crooked River. 

Henry was definitely pooped after this hike. He's been sleeping in the guest bed ever since we got home. I'm convinced he thinks he's a person. 

Reason # one million why I love Bend

Because after a short walk up to Sunset Hill,

Henry is allowed to enjoy a beverage at the nearby coffee shop with the rest of us!

He even gets to order at the counter! 

Raylee thinks Bend is pretty cool too! Kisses all around!

And reason # one million and one...

Just look at that beauty. Man, I'm lucky!
