We Have Visitors!

Mom and Dad made it to Bend!! And its been non-stop adventure ever since. 

They arrived Friday afternoon and we immediately headed over to Smith Rock to check out the beautiful scenery. 

They couldn't believe how awesome this place was and went right into photog mode. I guess it runs in the family!

Today started off with a delicious breakfast at McKay Cottage.

They clearly loved their meals! 

After running a few errands around town, we headed up to Elk Lake for the Saturday concert. 

It was such a fun and relaxing evening. 

Before heading home, we stopped to admire the sunset. 

These photos don't even look real, they're so gorgeous! I will never get tired of this view! 

Another big day is planned for tomorrow, stay tuned!

This week was full of beautiful days, 

gorgeous sunsets, 

a photo shoot with my bestie, 

A couple Redskin victories, 

And a hike that has left me very sore today! 

The Moraine Lake Hike is definitely one of the more difficult ones I've done.  We started at Devil's Lake so Henry had the chance to take a quick dip before we started. 

Then we got on our way! We climbed uphill for a good solid hour to start off. Needless to say, my quads were burning. 

Especially with this little guy pulling me! He was so excited! 

As we approached the lake, the trail started to flatten out a bit

 and the views were unbelievable! 

Finally, we made it to Moraine Lake! Let the fun begin!

What a day! Henry was clearly pooped! 

In fact, Henry was so tired when we got home, he jumped in bed and started reading the blog.
