In other awesome news, BIG shoutout to my Dad who rocked his half marathon this morning, finishing in under 2 hours! SO proud of you!

BIG PROPS to Papa P!! (although he didn't stay up to FaceTime the Redskins game with you...just sayin'. I mean, I went on a chocolate cake-eating marathon today and still came through!!) ;-) Fall looks beautiful there!! It's rained for 4 straight days here. Blech. Which is exactly what you should be saying right this instant b/c Seth just informed me that the Cowboys just scored. (Do you like this real-time commenting?!)

Polly, you are becoming quite the photographer. The way you've captured the fall colors is amazing. One of our future visits will definitely be in October to see it all for ourselves. In all honesty, I can't give you full credit in that Henry, the wonder dog, is so darn photogenic no one could take a bad picture of him. Thanks for the closing complimentary words on my Half Marathon. As a famous runner once said, "To give anything less than your best, is to sacrifice the gift." I can certainly relate to Pre and 'the gift'. BTW, It was even more special (and quite a surprise) when turning into the stadium to see mom standing there, holding her umbrella in a soaking rain, encouraging me towards the finish line. Gotta love it! - Love Dad
