I can't wait to show you the gorgeous pictures from my hike this weekend, but before I do that let's catch up on a few things, shall we?
Henry was my little Superman for Halloween and Mickey Mouse for my Halloween party.
Man, he is so unbelievably cute, isn't he?
Henry was also awarded Employee of the Month at the office where we do some part time work. I was so proud!!
Friday was spent doing something that made me feel like a real Oregonian. I went to a fly-fishing movie at the Volcanic Theater Pub and it was actually pretty awesome!
I never thought in a million years I would pay money to watch a film about guys trying to catch fish. But I did and I loved it! And it kind of makes me want to become a fisherman!
On Saturday, we hung out with the Sylvesters. My girl, Raylee, helped Henry eat his breakfast.
Such good buddies!
And lastly, I spent Saturday afternoon bowling. And I bowled a whopping....88!!! As bad as that sounds, I came in 3rd out of 6. All-Star!
Now on to the most gorgeous hike! My friend Ashley and I headed up toward the Cascade Lakes but pulled over just after Mt. Bachelor since the road closes in November due to snow.
Henry was so excited to see the snow.
He was running around like a crazy dog!
I just love him and his kisses so much!
This hike was so refreshing and much needed. This is what I love most about Oregon. When life gets hectic or you're feeling stressed, you just step outside and hang out with Mother Nature. She slows you down and gives you a good talking to, then sends you on your way, feeling rejuvenated and ready to take on the world again.
Raylee and Henry .....priceless! Can't wait for Thursday! Love you Polly
