Cooperstown

Not only did we all love the Baseball Hall of Fame, but we loved the town of Cooperstown too!

Chris gave it a very enthusiastic thumbs up!

It was a quiet, small town that made no secret of their love affair with baseball. I particularly loved the store names.

The whole family agreed that Cooperstown is also home to the world's best pizza, thanks to Tino's!

Not only was the town great, but the hotel provided a lot of excitement too. Old Redskin players were staying there the same night as us!! Since I stalked the Redskin rookies earlier in the week, I did my best to be inconspicuous this time around.

I apologize for the blurry and distant pictures, but it was the best I could do to not blow my cover!

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but two of the alums were Joe Jacoby and Mark May. Dad did a little research and learned that Mark May was back in his hometown for a charity golf tournament. I guess he brought along some of his friends. Pretty cool! We saw the Redskin alums and rookies all in one week!

The batting cages in town were also a huge hit (haha, get it?) with our family.

Rob showed off his switch hitting skills.

Madi hit 7 of 10 sixty mph fastballs and showed up the high school boy in line behind her. What an athlete!

While some were batting, others were giving it their all at the fastest throw booth.

And the winner for fastest throw in the family was.....

ZACH!!! Nice job, buddy!
