Heading North, Eh?

After the Football Hall of Fame, we headed to Toronto to visit the Hockey Hall of Fame!

We stayed right in the city so we were within walking distance of some good tourist attractions.

First stop, the Great One's restaurant.

Dad and I thought it was appropriate to get a picture next to Gretzky's number since I've always held him in such high regard. When I was a little girl, I was watching a hockey game with Dad, as I often did, and innocently asked the question, "wouldn't it be so cool if Wayne Gretzky were my Dad?"

I've never been able to live it down but after 31 years of life, I've learned it's a whole lot cooler having you, Dad.

We then headed over to the Rogers Centre where the Toronto Blue Jays play.

We tried to go inside to see the field but the doors were locked. We did, however, manage to catch a glimpse of the field through a door. It's not much, but it's something. Good find, Rob!

Next stop, Maple Leaf Square...

And the Air Canada Centre where the Maple Leafs and Raptors play.

We walked around a little more to take in the sights before heading to the Hall of Fame.

My summary of the Hockey Hall of Fame will basically be an Ode to my Capitals, so I figured it should have it's own post. Stay tuned!
